Welcome to the BHHOA Blog Page

As promised, we now have a blog page to help us all in managing our community. A blog like this one can be a wonderful tool for disseminating information, building consensus, and addressing community and in some cases individual concerns. But it also requires some restraint and discipline to keep it from becoming a free for all. For this reason I recommend that we all commit ourselves to good Blogetiquette. In other words when making an entry consider the audience, be concise, open to feedback and most importantly be respectful.

For the most part once an entry is made it will be left on the blog unless the author asks to have it removed or edited, a reasonable person might find it offensive, the matter has been addressed, and last but not least for reasonable editorial purposes (ie to make the blog more legible and informative).

Remember this is a community blog. Your comments and suggestions on how we can make it better are always welcome.

Again - welcome to our new blog. May it help us all manage and enjoy our community even more than we do now.

Here are some things you can look forward to in the near future:

  1. The minutes from the June 3rd Homeowners meeting when they are ready
  2. A Summer Picture for the Headliner - (when someone submits one)
  3. Pictures of the sample staining of the Pump House - depicting the original stain, the power washed face and the new stain.
  4. Comments and Insights from your fellow Homeowners
  5. Committee Reports and Updates as they become available

Ed: I too, thank you for getting this up and running. This may be just the tool we need to get things where they should be with our homeowners association.

I sent an email to Christine Smutek and CC; to all homeowners regarding the lake mountain club fees and the consideration of a day use fee for homeowners that do not use their units frequently during the summer months. If anyone did not get this email, please let me know @ lindagrisafi@dejazzd.com and I will forward it to you.

The Homeowners Fall Picnic is scheduled for October 13th. Anyone interested with assisting in the planning should contact either Ed Vea or Frank Krause.

I'm embarrassed to admit I've never used (or even seen) a blog page before. Can somehow enlighten me on how to attach a photo?
