The Power and The Stain

Here stands the lowly Water Pump House. Its been power washed and its been stained. So what do you think - not bad?

Thanks to Ted and Tom for all their efforts to get this sample ready for us. I understand it took the better part of a day if not more to get it all done.

So if you are in town - stop by and take a look. As the season goes on the "washed" part is likely to fade. The stain should stay the same. Once you have seen it or reviewed the pictures - Post your Comments Here!

(Note: this stain has a polyurethane for ultraviolet light protection that gives the stain a little bit of a glean. This added protection is intended to extend the life of the product).

Wow. Ted and Mike. This looks great on the blog site. I have not had a chance to get up there to see it yet but you were dead on with what you said at all of the meetings we had with regard to the look we could get with power washing and the Behr Stain. Now, can we get you to do the work for 128 units. I took the liberty of forwarding this via email to all the homeowners on the email list because I see that many have not signed up yet to use the blog site.

I'll second that "WOW!" It does look great! Thanks, guys, for taking the time to give us the preview! If everyone agrees on the process, when will be bid requests be going out, do you know?

Sorry for the oversight but it was brought to my attention that Tom P. also assisted with the pump house project so my thanks go out to him also for his work and attention in getting this project underway.

Looks fantastic. Is this the same stain that was discussed at the January meeting?? Is this stain mentioned in the bid specs?? Thanks for all your effort

Same stain... As far as I know the spec for Staining has not yet been completed. Only the spec for the siding preparation. But I am sure that when the specification is completed this is the stain that will be in it.
